Over the last decade, the constant technological development of drones has led to considerable improvements in operational safety as well as autonomy and productivity, which also increases our clients' demands for improvements that effectively contribute to their daily tasks.

A turning point occurred in 2015 with the arrival of the first drones with PPK direct georeferencing, which, through post-processing, allowed obtaining precise coordinates of photographs without the need for ground control points, without sacrificing accuracy. A few years later, with the arrival of the first DJI Enterprise line drones, the use of direct georeferencing, but now in real-time RTK, gradually gained traction. This initially had certain limitations regarding telemetry stability, which was significantly improved with the arrival of the Matrice 300 RTK/PPK system.

Currently, when working with the M300, we find a reliable, safe, and accurate solution that will allow us to work seamlessly with both methods. When should we work with RTK or PPK? What considerations should we take into account when working with one method or the other? We invite you to connect to our new UAS webinar, which will take place next Thursday, August 4th at 11:00 AM Chile time.
