Currently, there are various approaches to transformations, among which the one proposed by the Military Geographic Institute of Chile stands out. This approach is based on a Molodensky transformation that provides translations in ∆X, ∆Y, ∆Z, or more local approaches based on rotations, translations, and scale factors (7 parameters). In this TBC tip, we will explain how to incorporate these parameters into TBC workflows in an automated way.
