Trimble RTX is significantly impacting GNSS users when evaluating work methodologies for coordinate determination in different fields. The use of RTX leads to an evident reduction in logistical costs for GNSS work because it does not depend on a base station to obtain highly precise geodetic positions. However, the use of Trimble RTX involves transforming the position determined in a current epoch to an established reference framework.

For this, GEOCOM has worked hand-in-hand with Trimble on the incorporation of velocity models into the so-called TGL (Trimble Geodetic Library), which is a geodetic library that stores different transformations for the correct representation of coordinates.

He has worked in the mining industry directly in open-pit mine operations, as well as in academia as a professor in several higher education institutions related to geomatics and geomensuration, specializing in the adjustment of terrestrial and satellite geodetic observations.

Passionate about geomensuration in all its aspects, he has integrated a variety of geospatial data acquisition techniques. He has experience in technology transfer of different geospatial instruments and sensors, helping various users and companies to incorporate them into their projects.

At GEOCOM, he serves as Support and Presales Manager, leading a team of engineers dedicated to solving customer problems in the implementation of geotechnologies and also in their dissemination.
