
The use of GNSS RTK observation techniques for geodetic networks is rarely explored. The most commonly used observation method is Static; however, observation times in the field can be long, and to achieve optimal results, we must create a good design to have the redundancy required for network adjustment.
On the other hand, real-time network observation using the "Observed control point" method allows us to be more agile in the field and achieve the required quality. Subsequently, it is possible to adjust these RTK processed vectors in Trimble Business Center. The quality of both solutions (Static and RTK) is similar, but what is interesting about this exercise is the productivity in the field and the redundancy of information.

112 vectors were observed using RTK, with an observation time in the field of 5h:36', not including travel and setup times.

25 vectors were observed using the Static method, with an observation time in the field of 19h:52', not including travel and setup times.
The images show the network configurations and their results. The customized reports for this case do not show coordinates, only the residuals after adjustment.
