Consejo RIEGL N°11 | RiSCAN PRO - Cálculo de volumen: Tips

 

In this new RIEGL tip, called RiSCAN PRO – Volume Calculation: TIPS, we will review some practical tips to solve requirements when calculating volume. Based on 2 completed projects, one of a concentrate stock and another advance project in a mining pit, obtained with RIEGL VZ-2000i and VZ-1000 laser scanners respectively, we will review the following practical tips:

 

Volume Calculation - TIPS:

  • Creation of a base surface from a polyline generated in RiSCAN PRO
  • Raster + Triangulation: from this volume calculation mode, we can obtain a surface
