TRW Tip No. 5 | Georeferencing

Trimble RealWorks' Georeferencing tool allows us to characterize our point cloud with a defined coordinate system, which can be global or local depending on the needs of our project.

This technique can be applied in different ways, such as the one covered in the previous tip. For this occasion, we present the application of a topographic workflow that allows assigning coordinates to scanning stations by means of orientation using known points, colloquially known as calibration or backsight in English.
