Consejo TRW N° 16 | INSPECCIÓN ESPESOR SHOTCRETE

In tunnel and underground projects, fast and massive inspection is one of the main challenges in the construction cycle. One of the important aspects within this process refers to analyzing shotcrete projection, not only for economic reasons but also for safety, since not meeting design thicknesses can lead to problems in this area.

Thanks to LiDAR technology, we can obtain terrain information quickly, easily, and accurately. This, combined with software that has analysis tools such as Trimble Real Works, provides us with a very powerful solution to deliver fast and highly accurate results. In this tip, we will review the workflow to achieve good results using these tools.
