The powerful X7 allows for simple, fast, and massive surveys in environmentally and operationally demanding industrial environments.

The Trimble X7 is the world's first dual-compensator scanning system that integrates a survey-grade Servo-Drive system, high-speed scanning, and a coaxial camera system. All of this in a protected central unit that makes it the first laser scanner with self-calibration.

The Trimble Perspective field software, installed on a high-performance tablet, performs automatic registration in the field, based on the use of a built-in IMU, an automatic leveling sensor, and the geometric characteristics of the surveyed point cloud. This allows 3D visualization of scans in real time, enabling measurements and annotations in the field.

The Trimble X7 incorporates a laser pointer which allows for the surveying of control points to georeference the point cloud to a local coordinate system in the field.

AUTO-CALIBRATION

Before each measurement, the Trimble X7 checks and corrects its internal parameters if necessary, ensuring that the survey performed in the field is accurate.
There are no recommendations for annual factory maintenance and/or calibration, reducing maintenance costs and ensuring operational continuity in projects.

SURVEY-GRADE AUTO-LEVELING

It has an auto-leveling sensor with a range of 10° and an accuracy of 3″ (0.3mm @ 20m), ideal for flatness and verticality analysis.

MEASUREMENT OF DARK AND HIGHLY REFLECTIVE SURFACES

The Trimble X7 has two measurement modes:
STANDARD MODE: Used on most surfaces.
HIGH SENSITIVITY MODE: Used on complex, dark, or highly reflective surfaces.
