Trimble Catalyst and the Trimble DA2 GNSS receiver are here to stay, offering a GNSS positioning solution as a service for mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.

This service will allow you to use Trimble positioning in any application that uses the location of the mobile device where it is installed. This makes it possible not only to work with Trimble applications like TerraFlex or Penmap, but also to choose the application that best suits your workflows.

 

Trimble Catalyst is flexible and adapts to the needs of your projects, from topographic work where precision is essential, to capturing georeferenced data for geographic information systems. Thus, the service is divided into different subscriptions according to the required precision: 

  • Catalyst 1 = centimeter-level precision (1 cm)
  • Catalyst 10 = decimeter-level precision (10 cm)
  • Catalyst 30 = precision of 30 cm
  • Catalyst 60 = sub-meter precision (60 cm)

 

In addition, you can choose between different subscription levels according to the time you estimate necessary to use the service:

 

  • Catalyst monthly or annual = acquire subscriptions for one or more months (or years) for different users within your organization.
  • Catalyst On Demand = adapt your capture needs to the hours you actually need for one or more users within your organization. The minimum time for this subscription is 10 hours.

 

The Trimble Catalyst service is possible thanks to the features of the new Trimble DA2 GNSS receiver, which also incorporates the latest positioning engine developed by Trimble called Trimble ProPoint... Yes... The same positioning technology as our highest-end receiver: Trimble R12i.

Trimble ProPoint will allow you to improve precision and productivity in your GNSS surveys under challenging conditions, and in the case of DA2, it is compatible with RTK correction sources via NTRIP and RTX.

Trimble DA2 is capable of tracking multiple GNSS signals and is characterized by being lightweight, compact, and robust. DA2 also adapts to any type of environment thanks to its protection level against dust and rain (IP65) and its resistance to drops and vibrations (MIL-STD-810G).
