Integrated surveying is a methodology that combines satellite observation from Trimble R12i with terrestrial observation from SX12 in a common free station, offering great flexibility when setting up the scanning total station. It consists of providing position and orientation to any robotic total station using positions observed directly with GNSS RTK. This methodology is extremely useful when there is limited access to control points since it extends the GNSS domain to the total station itself, being fully compatible with local coordinate systems.
For more details on this technique, don't miss our next webinar, "Combination of Geospatial Observation Techniques," this Thursday, July 15, at 11:00 a.m.
