New BricsCAD licensing in 2024

As of January 1, 2024, BricsCAD licenses will undergo some relevant changes in their offering to improve the service and user experience.

1. All perpetual versions will come with maintenance included.

Maintenance is now included with the sale of perpetual licenses, as it is a highly valuable benefit for users, offering 24/7 support and assistance through the online BOA platform.

Among the advantages of this service are:
- Support during installation and activation of licenses
- Answering queries about migrating from other CAD software to BricsCAD
- Advice on functions and best practices when using the software
- Version updates twice a year, allowing access to new features
- Personalized attention and advice on version updates

While maintenance is mandatory with the purchase and will modify the price due to this, the customer can decide not to renew maintenance after the first year.

2. Minimum conditions for selling Network licenses

Other changes that have been implemented relate to network licensing, as this alternative offers flexibility but requires professional IT infrastructure to be implemented correctly.

For this reason, some conditions and restrictions have been incorporated:
- BricsCAD Lite network licenses can be purchased in a package of 5 seats minimum.
- Updates from single licenses (perpetual or subscription) to network licenses will not be allowed.
