[LA SERENA] GEOCOM - INACAP COURSE | GNSS DATA PROCESSING AND 4D GEODESY

MARCH 5 & 6 / 09:00 TO 18:00HRS / INACAP La Serena Campus

The determination of geodetic positions with a reference epoch as the fourth component has presented challenges for geospatial data users. This approach is influenced by the deformation of the Earth's crust, resulting from geodynamic variables, and by the high precisions achieved with GNSS observation techniques, which allow these effects to be detected.

Trimble RTX offers a practical solution for 4D coordinate determination in engineering, based on absolute positioning. This system uses a global observation network to calculate real-time corrections, which are sent to GNSS receivers. This provides positions with centimeter-level accuracy associated with instantaneous epochs. Additionally, using velocity models, these positions are adjusted to specific reference epochs, such as SIRGAS-Chile (2016 or 2021) or REDGEOMIN.

This course will review theoretical and practical concepts using Trimble RTX and Trimble Access in engineering and geomatics applications.
