GNSS Workshops Calendar 2026: Empowering Applied Geodesy
From the GNSS GEOCOM area, we are pleased to announce our annual schedule of in-person technical workshops. This series of training sessions is designed to delve into the use of Trimble Business Center (TBC) and the latest trends in satellite positioning, providing key tools to optimize your workflows.
Throughout the year, we will cover everything from complex geodetic transformations to the integration of advanced correction services, culminating in an advanced technical talk at our 2026 Geospatial Seminar.

Details of the technical workshops
In each session, our team will delve into specific details, configurations, and examples of Trimble Business Center (TBC) to solve challenges in the field:
- March 10 - Geodetic Transformations in TBC: This workshop will address the fundamental concepts necessary for the correct incorporation of Datum transformation parameters and coordinate systems in Trimble Business Center (TBC). Throughout the session, the theoretical principles underlying these transformations will be explained, as well as their correct implementation in TBC.
-
May 12 - Incorporation of RTX in GNSS networks: This workshop will focus on the integration of Trimble RTX solutions within GNSS networks and workflows. The fundamentals of PPP and PPP-RTK positioning will be explained, their relationship with modern reference frames, and their practical application in TBC. Real-world implementation cases, accuracy analysis, and technical criteria for their adoption in engineering, mining, and geodetic monitoring projects will be presented.
- July 07 - GNSS RTK and Post-Processing (PP) Networks: Workshop focused on the development of GNSS survey strategies using RTK and Post-Processing methodologies, evaluating advantages, limitations, and selection criteria depending on the project type. Practical examples in TBC will be developed to optimize accuracy, redundancy, and quality control, incorporating best practices in static and dynamic networks.
- September 08 - Workflow optimization for GNSS networks: This workshop will address the comprehensive optimization of GNSS projects in TBC, from data import and organization to the generation of final products.
- Methodologies will be presented to improve processing times, reduce operational errors, and strengthen technical traceability in engineering, infrastructure, and monitoring projects.
- October 08 - Geodesy applied to engineering - GNSS networks for road projects: This presentation will focus on the advanced application of geodetic principles in engineering projects. Concepts such as modern reference frames, quality control, and technical validation of results will be addressed. Through practical examples and real cases, it will be shown how to integrate solid geodetic fundamentals into operational workflows, strengthening the accuracy and reliability of geospatial projects.
How to participate?
To ensure a high-quality learning experience, spaces are limited.
Important note: Registrations are not made en masse for the entire year. Stay tuned to our social media and website, as we will open calls individually weeks before each event. You will be able to apply for a spot in each specific publication.
We look forward to continuing to raise the standard of geodesy in Chile!
