Upgrade your Bentley Select V8i applications before January 2022

 

Since last year, Bentley has been running the Get Current 2020 Campaign, which encourages users who still have SELECTseries V8i applications or older to upgrade to the CONNECT Edition software, as the manufacturer will discontinue support for those products and stop using SELECTserver in 2021. Please note that this ends support for V8i SELECTseries 10 and older software as of January 1, 2022.

If you have not yet completed the recommended migration, users who continue with their B8i versions or older should work to upgrade to the CONNECT Edition software. CONNECT Edition applications provide users with new enhancements, critical security updates, and opportunities for more efficient workflows.

Bentley recognizes the impact this will have on users and current projects that may be underway. Therefore, although V8i SELECTseries 10 and older applications will no longer have technical support, they will continue to run "as is" without interruption in case users need to remain on them to complete deliverables.
