The use of drones has brought enormous benefits to national industry, especially in mining, improving productivity, facilitating the visualization and analysis of geospatial data, and contributing to operational safety in various tasks.

In this workshop, you will be able to learn about the latest developments in UAS technology and discuss the different applications and solutions offered by GEOCOM, exchanging experiences with specialists in the field.

INSTRUCTORS  

Cristian Michell | UAS Product Manager Geocom

Geomatics Engineer from USACH, graduated in 2006, and since then has practiced his profession in various areas of national industry, especially in mining. In 2011, he joined GEOCOM, and since 2012 has held the position of UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) Product Manager. He is responsible for the commercialization of these devices, dissemination of this technology, demonstrations, evaluation and execution of aerial survey services. He has extensive experience in the operation of fixed-wing and rotary-wing UAS equipment, and in the processing of photogrammetric data.

 

Oscar Moreno | UAS & Drones Solutions Specialist

Geomatics Engineer and Master in Remote Sensing (MSc) with extensive experience as a certified pilot instructor for fixed-wing and rotary-wing drones. In the academic field, he has participated as a lecturer and speaker at various higher education institutions.
