With over 15 years of continuous operation in Chilean territory, the GEOCOM GNSS Network has been a significant industry contribution to the development of Geomatics in Chile. From its control center, GEOCOM's GNSS network transmits corrections to support RTK positioning of mobile GNSS receivers. In parallel, it has a data repository for tasks that require post-processing of GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) observations.

During the first quarter of 2025, GEOCOM's engineering department calculated GEOCOM's GNSS NETWORK for epoch 2025.0. This new definition considers the SIRGAS linkage through fiducial stations made available in one of the weekly solutions provided by the processing centers associated with this institution. In addition to this new epoch, the calculation considers the change of reference frame, which implies that GEOCOM's GNSS network is linked to IGb20.

Solution 2025.0 joins the 5 previous solutions made available by GEOCOM. This new solution also includes an infrastructure improvement (new antennas, new stations), which will expand the benefits for GEOCOM and TRIMBLE users, allowing access to new real-time data strings, as well as post-processing files in T02 format, through the different continuous operation stations strategically distributed throughout the national territory, thus favoring the optimization of resources in the development of engineering and related projects.
